Description of Service

Crystal Identifier provides AI-powered crystal, rock, mineral, gemstone, stone, and fossil identification from photographs. The service is available through our website and mobile applications for iOS and Android.

Identification Accuracy

Our AI identification service provides estimates based on visual analysis of photographs. Results are not guaranteed to be accurate and should not be used as the sole basis for financial decisions, insurance appraisals, or scientific classification. For specimens of significant value, consult a licensed gemologist, mineralogist, or geologist.

Free and Paid Services

The web scanner provides one free identification per day. The mobile app provides additional free scans. Subscribers receive unlimited daily scans. We reserve the right to modify usage limits at any time.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload images that contain inappropriate or illegal content
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the service

Intellectual Property

All content on Crystal Identifier, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Crystal Identifier and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

Uploaded Content

You retain ownership of images you upload. By uploading an image, you grant us a limited license to process the image for identification purposes. Images are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored.

Limitation of Liability

Crystal Identifier is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the service, including but not limited to financial losses from relying on identification results.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
